The Beauty of the Beast

What comes first in your head when you hear the word “Black Hole”? Probably a stellar beast engulfing everything that comes near it or a star killer.
Yeah, black holes don’t have a good reputation in our minds. But this beast has some beauty of its own. When it comes to judgement, we, the humans emphasise on the bad side, for the most part. Black holes are also the victims of this human judgement.
Black holes are not just destroyers, they are also creators. They have immense contribution in the formation of stars and galaxies as well. We know that stars with huge mass end up as a black hole. When these black holes swallow materials that came too close, they emit jets of high-energy particles and radiation generated by their violent feeding frenzy; these jets, which can be millions of light-years in length, are believed to have triggered the formation of stars. The jets of radiation passes through stellar gas molecules and cause them to clump together and form stars. These stars are drawn by the huge gravity of the black hole. Thus the stars accumulate and start orbiting around the black hole which results in the formation of galaxies. In other words, we have galaxies due to the fact that we have a raging supermassive black hole at the center which helped to initiate star formation. Where there's chaos, there's love somehow, subtle or otherwise.
So, do you still picture black holes as a villain? We humans have a lot to learn from the space, for example: not to judge anything or anyone by its worst qualities. Every Beast has some beauty of its own.
